Listing of chemicals is again at the core of this year’s meetings of the Conference of the Parties (COPs) to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions. A total of eight chemicals will be considered for inclusion in Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention; whilst two new chemicals will be considered for listing as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) under the Stockholm Convention.
